This Shrub Aster variety, American Branching mix, is beautiful, steady and bush-shaped. It has large, dense flowers in a variety of colours. Shrub Aster is well suitable for flowerbeds or bouquets. Enjoys well-fertilized and well-drained soil as well as plenty of water. Alternate growing location each year in order to avoid fungus. Pre-cultivation is recommended.

Sow sparsely in humid soil. Cover with a thin layer of soil, or preferably vermiculite. Initially grow at a temperature of 18-22°C and transfer to a cooler and more bright environment once sprouted. Once the plants are big enough to handle, place one in each pot of fertilised soil. Re-plant outdoors after the last frost.
Water in the seed-furrow prior to sowing and keep the soil moist thereafter.
